SAP Commerce Cloud Front-End Architect
We are hiring SAP Commerce Cloud Front-End Architects to work on modern responsive SPAs (single page applications) based on the Angular development environment. As a Front-End Architect you will lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance front-end solutions for enterprise-grade eCommerce applications. These applications will be built on Angular and the SAP Commerce Cloud Composable Storefront. You will collaborate closely with the Product Owners to translate business requirements into technical architecture and work cross-functionally with other teams to ensure alignment with platform standards and best practices.
This role requires a deep understanding of modern front-end frameworks, enterprise design systems, and performance optimization strategies. You will mentor front-end developers, define coding standards, and drive accessibility and maintainability across the codebase. At times you will also need to assist with debugging, development, deployments, and demonstrations. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the user experience and technical direction of our clients digital platforms.

Responsibilities and Requirements
Expertise in Angular 19+ and Angular CLI with deep understanding of Angular modules, routing, service workers, and animations
In-depth knowledge of web standards, cross-browser compatible HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Strong proficiency in NgRx (v19+) or state management, including effects, store, router-store, and devtools
Design, code and maintain high performance, scalable VanillaJS JavaScript code
Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, LESS and/or SASS, and responsive design principles
Strong understanding of RESTful API integration, OAuth2/OIDC authentication flows and secure client-side data handling
Experience in coding pixel accurate user interfaces
Experience with enterprise design systems and component libraries, including Web components
Experience with internationalization (i18next) and localization strategies for global application
Experience in debugging tools like Chrome DevTools and/or Firebug
Experience in developing pages optimized for performance, using tools like Lighthouse
Experience working with design tools like Zeplin or Figma
SAP Commerce Storefront experience is a plus
Demonstrated experience in delivering enterprise-level solutions (one or more projects delivered)
Experience with SAP Composable Commerce (Spartacus) is a plus, but not required
Experience negotiating REST API details
Experience in Agile project methodology and delivery, and delivery management tools from Atlassian like Confluence, JIRA, Git/Bitbucket
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
