Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to join our team, focusing on the renovation of warehouses primarily on the East Coast. This role involves working on projects ranging from small renovations to complete store remodels. The ideal candidate should be open to travel and have a background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, although this is not a strict requirement. Experience in retail, restaurant, or grocery chains would be advantageous. Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations on site.
- Manage all employees working on site.
- Oversee and maintain the project schedule.
- Ensure work is performed according to plans and specifications.
- Ensure materials are ordered and available on site when needed.
- Oversee all site safety protocols.
- Complete daily reports and conduct progress meetings.
- Experience in construction and construction management.
- Ability to manage subcontractors and commercial construction projects.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and project scheduling.
- Familiarity with construction safety and interior renovation.
- Proficiency in Procore and other construction management software.
- Must be able to read and interpret plans and specifications.
- Strong computer skills in construction management software.
