Job Description
We are seeking a skilled welder with expertise in welding mild steel and sheet metal using .035 hard wire. The position involves reading blueprints, fabricating parts, and welding thin gauge metal in a clean and organized shop environment.
Responsibilities
Perform welding on mild steel and sheet metal using .035 hard wire.
Read and interpret blueprints to fabricate parts accurately.
Weld thin gauge metal efficiently and with precision.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in MIG welding, particularly with .035 hard wire.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience in welding thin gauge metal.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with TIG welding and aluminum is a plus.
Familiarity with fabrication processes.
Capability to pass a weld test by joining two pieces of flat metal together using .035 hard wire.

Work in a clean and organized shop that combines production welding and fabrication. Our facility manufactures sheet metal products, serving industries such as automotive and exercise equipment. The day shift operates from 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday, and the swing shift from 4:00pm-2:30am, Monday-Thursday, with voluntary overtime on Saturdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clackamas, Oregon.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
