Civil Engineer

Civil Engineer Lead and manage civil engg activities for assigned land development projects, working independently and without supervision. Lead project engg design, create civil development plans, design site plans, grading plans, ESPC plans, erosion, sediment and pollution control plans, utility systems, incl. watermain, storm sewer, and sanitary sewer; direct engineers in devel. of detailed enggdesign drawings; conduct hydrological assessments of project sites; ensure compliance with local Georgia city and county municipality codes; analyze pre-construction hydrologic conditions; conduct site visits and field inspections. Addt'l duties available upon request. Requires extensive utilization of MicroStation, Inroads, OpenSite, Hydrology Studio Suite, HEC-RAS, and Hydraulic modelling using Storm CAD, and Bluebeam Revu. Requires Bach.'s degree in civil engg, followed by min. 3 yrs exp. in position offered or 3 yrs of civil engg exp.creating site development plans for land development projects, including: devel. detailed engg designs, civil devel. plans, site plans, grading plans, ESPC plans, and erosion, sediment and pollution control plans; prep'g enggdrawings, calcs, specs, & construction docs; conducting site visits to perform hydrological assessments of project sites; analyzing pre-construction hydrologic conditions and eval. post-construction impacts; eval. shop drawings and completing condition reports that include cost and time estimates analysis; and ensuring projects compliance with project specs, appl. codes and regulatory standards, incl.local Georgia city and county municipality codes. Req'dexp. must include utiliz. of MicroStation, Inroads, OpenSite, Hydrology Studio Suite, HEC-RAS, and Hydraulic modelling using Storm CAD, and Bluebeam Revu.
