Civil Engineer

Privately owned and operated civil engineering firm in Houston, TX is looking to add an experience Civil Engineer to the team. This longstanding firm is seeking a talented professional engineer that will be responsible for providing engineering design and construction review for a variety of projects, including water, wastewater, detention, storm water, paving, and roadway projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of civil engineering principles, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Prefer county project experience and this role is in office with fully paid health insurance benefits. PE highly preferred.

responsibilities:

• Perform engineering design and calculations for civil engineering projects.
  
  
• Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
  
  
• Conduct site visits and inspections.
  
  
• Must manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  
  
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  
  
• Prepare various permit applications, including applications for new, renewal, minor amendment, and major amendment applications for TPDES permits.
  
  
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
