An Electrical Engineer is needed for an engineering consulting company preferably in the Omaha, NE area - not required. This position will work on projects including engineering and design of data centers and other mission-critical facilities. Remote work.

responsibilities:
Engineering & Design:
- Design medium and low voltage distribution systems, building electrical systems, and campus-style power distribution.
- Focus on engineering and design for data centers and other mission-critical facilities.
- Design for power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems.
- Perform retrofit designs for existing building systems.
- Work within a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team to establish design requirements and produce construction documents.
- Contribute to team technical collaboration and perform quality reviews of design packages.
- Assist directly with other parts of the design process.
Management & Development:
- Manage quality, scope, budget, and schedule for projects.
- Engage in mentorship and other career development opportunities.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 3-6 years of experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems.
- Knowledge of and experience with industrial facility design.
- Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software.
- Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code - NEC).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience:
- Data center facility design experience.
- Experience in the design of large projects on greenfield sites.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Forward-thinking, eager to learn, and driven to broaden knowledge.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Passion for buildings and construction.
