Machine Operator/ Mechanic

Are you a skilled Machine Operator and Mechanic who can set up, operate, and maintain production machinery? We are looking for a professional to ensure the efficient and continuous running of our manufacturing processes. This role is a blend of hands-on machine operation and the technical expertise required for maintenance and troubleshooting. What You'll Bring:

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and mechanically-inclined individual with a commitment to quality and safety.

• Proven experience as a machine operator or in a similar manufacturing role.
  
  
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting equipment issues.
  
  
• Knowledge of production machinery and mechanical systems.
  
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  
  
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to product quality.
  
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
  
• Physical stamina and strength to operate heavy machinery.
  
  
• A High School diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

As a Machine Operator & Mechanic, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure smooth and efficient production:

• Setting up and operating machinery according to production specifications.
  
  
• Controlling and adjusting machine settings to optimize performance, quality, and consistency.
  
  
• Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery to ensure operational efficiency.
  
  
• Troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues that may arise during a shift, and coordinating repairs when necessary.
  
  
• Inspecting finished products for quality and removing defective items.
  
  
• Maintaining accurate production logs and reporting any malfunctions to supervisors.
  
  
• Following all safety protocols and regulations and maintaining a safe work environment.
  
  
• Assisting in the installation of new equipment.
  
  
• Operating material handling equipment , such as a forklift, to load and unload materials as needed.
