Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

Under the supervision of the Superintendent, this position supports the Block Department in all areas of molds and models.

Responsibilities

+ Verify molds meet company standards.

+ Set up molds for production.

+ Repair and clean mold components.

+ Troubleshoot by reading molds schematics and make repairs.

+ Use grinder, wire wheels, chipping guns, welder, oxyfuel cutting torch, pressure washer, and hand and pneumatic tools.

+ Assist with maintenance projects, parts changes, and general labor.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with hand tools.

+ Knowledge of concrete production and assembly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in general labor and carpentry.

Work Environment

Work in a plant environment with moderate to very loud noise, dusty and dirty conditions. You will work near moving mechanical parts, in high precarious places, and be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, heat or cold, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. Wearing mandatory personal protective equipment ( PPE ) is required. The shift is from 7 AM to 4 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Meridian, Idaho.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 $18.00/hr.
