We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Coil Builder to join our production team. This role is essential in assembling coils for expansion and brazing, contributing directly to the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read specification sheets to identify correct parts
• Assemble coil components including frames, fins, tubes, and hardware
• Label coils accurately with build day and manufacturing number
• Move coils using cranes to the expansion area
• Complete required paperwork including quality stickers and daily logs
• Inspect coils for defects and perform necessary rework
• Use basic hand tools such as pliers, wrenches, and drills
• Train new or existing employees as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all safety and environmental protocols

Qualifications:

• Less than high school education or up to one month related experience/training
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and layout drawings
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform measurements
• Forklift license required in some departments (must obtain within 3 months)
• No computer skills required

Physical & Work Environment:

• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, and vibration
• Loud noise levels typical of a manufacturing environment
• Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands
• Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Vision requirements include close, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment
