Job Description Join a dynamic team where you will play a pivotal role in reviewing design plans and specifications, performing quality assurance and quality control checks to ensure designs meet company standards. You will interpret specifications and drawings, recommend changes, document modifications, and collaborate closely with the design team. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the design and execution of Phase 1 and Phase 2 projects as well as various County and Municipal Transportation Projects. Responsibilities
- Review design plans and specifications for accuracy and compliance.
- Perform QA/QC checks to ensure designs meet company standards.
- Interpret and analyze specifications and drawings.
- Recommend and document design modifications.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure project success.
- Design projects for current Phase 1 and Phase 2, County, and Municipal Transportation Projects.
- 5+ years of experience in transportation design.
- Proficiency in MicroStation or Civil 3D.
- Experience in QA/QC for planning and report reviews.
- Knowledge of ADA, guard rail, MFT, Path Design, and IDOT standards.
- State (Rural or Urban) Design Experience.
- Local (Rural or Urban) Design Experience.
- Signal Design.
- Guardrail Design.
- ADA Design.
- PATH Design.
