Construction Project Administrator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Project Administrator to join our team and assist in the daily functions of construction procurement. The role involves providing routine administrative support to both internal and external project management team members. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, processing, organizing, and filing data and documentation from various sources to support the administrative, documentation, data, reporting, compliance, and communications needs of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the project management team and reach out to vendors for submittals and purchase orders.
  • Maintain and update project schedules, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Support project management with deliverables such as managing the project dashboard and electronically processing documents including submittals, pay applications, and compliance documentation.
  • Engage with subcontractors, supervisors, and project managers to ensure smooth project execution.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in project administration and scheduling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Excel.
  • Strong data entry skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with the project management team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Quick adaptability to new computer applications.
  • Understanding of construction projects.
  • Experience in submittal processing.
Work Environment

The position involves working on commercial construction projects specifically in a data center environment. The role requires supporting multiple projects simultaneously. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of finishing earlier depending on team requirements. The job offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the construction industry, working with high-profile companies in the Northeast Oklahoma area.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Pryor, Oklahoma.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
