- Coordinate projects by making detailed plans to achieve goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
- Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
- Recruit employees, assign tasks, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee staff competence development and maintenance.
- Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to plan and assess project feasibility.
- Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
- Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
- Manage projects and coordinate with operations teams and general contractors.
- Evaluate design documents and oversee field construction for safety and quality.
- 10+ years of experience in construction, data center construction, and project management.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
- PMI or PMP certification preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, as well as collaborate within a team.
- Knowledge of design and construction processes, quality control, costs, schedules, and other techniques to deliver projects on-time and under budget.
- Familiarity with construction delivery methods such as Design-build, Design-bid-build, CM-at-Risk, and Design Assist.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Proficiency in computer software such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, Procore or similar PMIS, Microsoft Outlook, TEAMs, and OneNote.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is advantageous.
- Experience in Data Center Retrofit work is considered a plus.
