JOB SUMMARY

Qualified candidates should have experience working with fast-paced home builders, be experts in flooring, have strong communication skills, and the ability to problem solve. We are looking for an ambitious, organized candidate who can demonstrate the skills necessary to execute and excel in the following areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintaining positive relationships with builder's supervisors, installers, suppliers and other employees.
  • Scheduling material delivery, quality control, punch-out and managing key relationships.
  • Walking jobsites daily to ensure project is on schedule and that the workmanship meets plans, specifications and standards of quality.
  • Must fully understand safety policies and uphold quality and industry standard requirements.
  • Must supervise and manage installers, and always promote job site safety, encouraging safe work practices and rectifying job site hazards immediately.
  • Regular and reliable attendance

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.   • Minimum 2 plus years' successful experience as a Residential Field Flooring Supervisor.
  • Residential new construction experience with national home builders.
  • Experienced in managing multiple projects.

  • Able to work in extreme temperatures.

  • Must possess the ability to stand for long periods of time; to reach with hands and arms; to move among and between offices; to handle mail and documents; to sit, stoop, kneel and crouch; to lift and move up to 50+ pounds; to see well enough to discern differences in quality of documents and files.
