This Warehouse Manager position administers and operates the organization's warehouses, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment. Accounts for all materials and supplies in the warehouse; audits goods received into warehouse. Oversee receipt, storage, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures. Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment. Warehouse Manager will complete various management, organization, and planning tasks to maintain high performance of the warehouse's purchasing, receiving, storage, and shipping processes.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees the daily workflow of the warehouse; schedules and organizes staff to ensure proper staffing
- Hire and train new warehouse employees.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Responsibility for the daily functions within the warehouse, including purchasing and receiving of shop tools, supplies, inventory items and minor facility action items.
- Monitor the cleanliness and maintain the warehouse in an orderly fashion to allow quick and easy access to inventory and supplies as needed.
- Communicate with the production and field managers to ensure products are on hand as needed.
- Conduct inventory counts at intervals as prescribed by the Company.
- Ensure all receiving is reconciled between the purchase order and the suppliers packing slip. All discrepancies are resolved with the supplier at the time of receipt.
- Assist and direct warehouse personnel in the loading of trucks with inventory items when they return to the warehouse.
- Create warehouse processes and employee training. Establish clear communication across the Company to achieve an efficient warehouse with processes to support accurate inventory management.
- Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees.
- Ensure that all warehouse personnel have the proper training for the equipment that they operate, including forklifts, company trucks, etc.
- Train employees in a highly flexible and cross-trained team
- Enforce operating instructions and safety policies.
- Resolves routine equipment issues.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
- High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., GED, college, technical or trade school transcript, foreign equivalency, etc.).
- Must be comfortable with using Computer software.
- Motivated team player who trains and empowers direct reports.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS
- This position requires working in a warehouse environment.
- Individuals may be exposed to varying temperatures including very hot (above 90 degrees F) or very cold (below 32 degrees F) and all-weather conditions.
