- Pay rate $20-$35 per hour based on experience.
Requirements:
- Sewer Layer License preferred but not required
- Experience in excavator machine operation, loading and delivery is a must
- Must be able to complete required physical labor for entire shift
- Must maintain a healthy physique able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, hold a minimum of 30 lbs overhead for an extended period, squat/sit in small space for extended period, and aid in other overall physical job requirements
- Must be able to understand and adhere to safety requirements of this position
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Proficient with small tools
- Ability to be on time at yard (6 am) everyday
Responsibilities
- Help equipment operator, excavation manager, and other skilled labor when necessary
- Prepares necessary supplies, tools and other equipment for transport to worksite
- Load or unload construction materials
- Operates small hand tools and provides other construction type labor in projects
- Set up and take down ladders, barriers, and other temporary structure
- Maintaining a clean job site - pick up tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards
- Pipefitting, water meter repairs, new service install, ditch work
- Proficient with use of pipe/grade laser
- Use hand tools (rakes, shovels, broom) as needed
- Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary
