About the Role

As the Project Safety Manager, you'll be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety programs across multiple job sites. You'll ensure compliance with OSHA, NYS, and client-specific safety standards, conduct inspections, lead safety meetings, and support accident prevention and investigation efforts. This role requires a proactive, hands-on leader who can build trust and accountability on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure job sites comply with OSHA, NYS, and client safety standards
• Prepare and maintain accident reports and employee safety certification records
• Monitor and maintain AED devices across the region
• Conduct regular site inspections and provide verbal and written safety recommendations
• Lead safety meetings and follow up on corrective actions
• Prepare and deliver safety presentations and training sessions
• Investigate serious incidents and support root cause analysis
• Review and enforce site-specific safety plans
• Travel regularly to job sites throughout the region

Qualifications

• Minimum4 years of project safety experience
• OSHA 30 certification required
• Familiarity with OSHA, NYS, and local safety regulations
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple job sites
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety reporting tools

Preferred Experience

• Experience with OGS (Office of General Services)projects
• Background in commercial construction
• OSHA 500 certification is a plus
• Knowledge of quality control and audit compliance
• Experience in construction project management

Work Environment

• Based in Pearl River, NY, with regular travel throughout the region
• Field-based role with frequent site visits and inspections

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
