We are currently seeking an ambitious pace-setter to join our team as a Product Support Electrical you'll be a perfect fit if you have a passion for improving reliability, reducing the cost of quality and troubleshooting of products. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through data analysis, robust testing and validation, and process improvement initiatives. There will be limited design responsibilities associated with this position but a comprehensive understanding of design is desired to aid in effective analysis, troubleshooting and corrective actions. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, testing, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure that all products meet or exceed our high standards that our athletes demand. Your contributions will drive to higher standards, improved customer experiences and make a real difference in our athletes lives. ROLE COMMITMENTS Diagnose and troubleshoot the electrical systems of fitness equipment. This includes, displays, tablets, motor controls and other printed circuitry, power supply and management. Utilize high-speed test equipment; oscilloscopes, data acquisition units, DMMs, logic & spectrum analyzers. Ability to work with ALTIUM or equivalent PCB layout tools (Cadence OrCAD Capture and Allegro, etc.) to review and modify board design. Lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting for product test or field failures and non-conformance issues, taking the lead to resolve and prevent future occurrences. Ensure all regulatory compliance and industry standards are met during the testing and validation processes. Champion continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data and insights to enhance test efficiency and product quality. Provide detailed, actionable reports to senior leadership on investigation results, progress, and risks, ensuring clear communication of findings and mitigation strategies. Consistent communication of improvements and finds to the product development team to ensure future designs are continuously improved in accordance with findings and improvements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Electrical Engineering Design and Development. Analyzie and troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical designs in manufacturing and production. A strong understanding of DFx, manufacturing processes and reliable designs to maximize product quality and reliability. Has in-depth experience with contract manufacturing support for multiple products, which will be provided through an NPI process. Execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate hardware products' performance, functionality, and durability. Conduct thoroughly validated hardware designs to ensure compliance with specifications, requirements and quality standards. Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of hardware defects and implement preventive measures for malfunctions to minimize future occurrences. Stay current with the latest advancements in hardware testing methodologies and apply them to improve the overall quality of our products. Has in-depth experience in support for multiple products through an NPI process. Managing product cost estimates during development and to the supply chain. Fluent with computers, Google Docs, Excel, Arena, Slack, Atlassian etc. Experience preparing and reviewing BOMs, ECOs, tolerances, engineering drawings, and assembly instructions. Ability to travel overseas on an occasional basis to Asia. Experience in working with Asia-based suppliers and supply chains. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Education and Basic Qualifications (Measurable, disqualifier) B.S. in Electrical Engineering from a 4-year accredited college/university. 2+ years of proven relevant engineering experience emphasizing product development and manufacturing. Proven ability to work within a cross-functional team, collaborating with other team members, and supporting multiple projects concurrently. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to product testing (e.g., UL, CE, RoHS) is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. Highly motivated to achieve both team and individual goals. Preferred Qualifications (Non-measurable, not a disqualifier) Experience in testing consumer products, medical devices, or similar industries. Six Sigma or similar process improvement certification. Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
