JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Mig and FCAW Welder Location: Tulsa, OKSchedule: 6-4:30, M-F, Full time with Overtime and some weekends requiredPay: $18-$23+DOE Action Group Staffing is currently seeking experienced Mig and FCAW welders to fill an opening in Tulsa. Key Responsibilities:
Performing both MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and flux core welding on a variety of metal components.
Reading and understanding technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to determine project requirements.
Setting up and operating welding machines, gas torches, and other related tools.
Preparing metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, or beveling.
Inspecting welds for proper penetration, bead profile, and adherence to specifications.
Following all safety procedures and protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on welding equipment.
Working with other team members, such as fabricators and quality control personnel, to ensure project completion.
Qualification:
2+ years of experience with MIG and flux core welding techniques.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, understand welding symbols, and operate welding equipment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials.
Strong attention to detail is crucial for ensuring weld quality and safety.
Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues with welding equipment or materials.
