2nd Shift Maintenance Millwright/Mechanic Shift/Pay/Additional Information: Direct Hire Shift: 2nd Shift: Working 5 and/or 6 10hr days. 2nd shift, 4p to 2a. For holidays Memorial Day, 4th of July etc. They typically get 3 day weekends!! Pay: $35.72/hr. (Earning potential north of $120,000/yr to $150,000/yr. with overtime. Overtime: 1.5x after 8 hrs (daily), 1.5x on Saturdays. Double time after 12 hrs (daily), 2x (Double Time) on Sundays. ($68/hr). .55 cent premium for nights. Union environment Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to perform mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostics on industrial equipment. The role involves 100% mechanical work, focusing on industrial cranes, steel slitters, coating machines, and conveyor lines. The technician will handle all secondary equipment, including pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, conveyors, pumps, gears, gearboxes, bearings, and cylinders. Responsibilities include full diagnosing and preventative maintenance, correcting defective mechanical devices by disassembling and installing new parts, and collaborating with engineering, operations, and quality control during emergency breakdowns to restore operations.
