Job Requirements About the Role The Manufacturing Foreman is a pivotal role bridging the gap between our controlled manufacturing environment and the dynamic job site. This person is responsible for the execution of project operations related to prefabricated CFMF building components, ensuring the highest standards in quality, schedule, and safety. Lead projects from fabrication through field installation, serving as the fab shop and on-site supervisor of product quality, performance, and execution. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with deep field experience in cold-formed metal framing (CFMF), and experience or interest in how prefab components are assembled, transported, and installed with precision. As we scale our manufacturing offerings and deliver more integrated building systems, this role will be central to setting the standard for how our products perform in the field. Responsibilities Project Supervision & Execution Lead projects utilizing prefabricated wall panels and other manufactured assemblies, managing small- to mid-sized install crews through the shop and field. Own the daily and weekly installation schedule and sequence. Coordinate with the Operations Leader, Shop Foreman, and Project Manager to align field operations with the broader construction schedule. Serve as the primary liaison between the field and the prefabrication shop to ensure alignment on shipping, site logistics, sequencing, and install readiness. Quality & Compliance Enforce high standards of quality control during install. Review shop-fabricated components upon delivery and escalate issues proactively. Ensure field crews are installing components per design intent, engineering specs, and safety standards. Maintain a clean and safe job site, promoting a culture of accountability and pride in craftsmanship. Technical Expertise Interpret shop drawings, installation plans, and architectural/structural details confidently. Perform layout of wall, ceiling, and floor systems, ensuring accurate coordination with structural steel, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other onsite trades. Recommend improvements to design, fabrication methods, and install workflows based on field observations. Troubleshoot field installation issues and provide quick, practical solutions with minimal disruption to schedule. Coordination & Communication Collaborate with the Prefabrication Operations Leader, Shop Foreman, and Design Teams to surface lessons learned and feed real-world insights back into the design-to-fabrication loop. Participate in preconstruction and pre-installation meetings as the field expert on your fabricated systems. Maintain daily reporting on field progress, manpower, and material needs. Work Experience Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience in commercial framing or construction supervision, with a preference for experience in cold-formed metal framing (CFMF) procurement, assembly, and installation. Demonstrated ability to lead field crews and hold team members to high standards of quality, performance, and safety. Strong communication skills and comfort interfacing with shop teams, project managers, superintendents, and design staff. Skilled at reading and interpreting construction drawings, shop drawings, and installation details. Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly accountable. Takes ownership of the final product and how it performs in the field. OSHA 30 certification preferred. RNGD is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
