Lakewood Country Club, a distinguished private establishment situated in East Dallas, is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HVAC Technician to enhance our Facilities Team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial HVAC systems and hold a current EPA Universal Certification. This full-time position is pivotal in maintaining optimal indoor climate and comfort across the club's facilities, ensuring the reliable operation of all heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems and associated equipment (air handlers, exhaust fans, and portable units as needed)
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on all HVAC equipment
- Diagnose complex HVAC system issues and recommend effective solutions
- Monitor HVAC system performance and energy efficiency; adjust as necessary
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, inspections, and system performance
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth facility operations
- Quarterly PMs on all RTU's and Split Systems
- Must be able to perform leak search and repairs
- Must be able to change contactors, belts, fans, heat exchangers, compressors, etc.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal HVAC codes and regulations
- Provide emergency support for HVAC-related issues during off-hours as needed (on-call rotation)
- Support and mentor junior technicians and maintenance team members
- Other maintenance duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC experience
- EPA Universal Certification (Required)
- Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical and control systems
- Proficient in reading technical manuals
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various environments (indoors, outdoors, confined spaces)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in hospitality, resort, or club environments (a plus, but not required)
- HVAC State Contractors License (a plus, but not required)
