Summary: Seeking a Weld Department Supervisor to lead welding operations, ensuring excellence in quality, productivity, and safety.

  • Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing
    • Expert ability to read and interpret blueprints
    • Proven supervisory experience within a welding or manufacturing environment
    • Strong knowledge of multiple welding processes (MIG, TIG, FCAW, Stick welding, soldering)
    • Mechanical knowledge including pipe threading, rigging, machining, plasma cutting
  • Preferred Skills:

    • CWI or CAWI certification
    • Skilled in precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)
    • Proficient in fabrication and assembly techniques
    • Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely
  • Responsibilities:

    • Develop clear daily production plans in collaboration with the Production Manager
    • Schedule and oversee manual welding operations for efficiency and on-time delivery
    • Manage weld kitting processes to maximize productivity and reduce downtime
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for departmental throughput and accuracy
    • Maintain oversight of weld quality standards and inspection requirements
    • Enforce safety rules and model safe work practices


Pay Details: $25.00 to $32.00 per hour
