Were looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to lead technical planning, design and procurement of long duration energy storage technology and integrating components. The right engineer can also provide technical oversight of electrical system installation and commissioning.

On our team, youll work with a multi-disciplinary team on a high visibility project that defines the ways to implement long duration energy storage solutions f or other s to follow. Youll impact critical Department of Defense missions by creating and delivering new ways to ensure they have the energy required when the nation calls. Well look to you to share your electrical engineering expertise through leadership and mentoring junior staff. You Have:

• 8+ years of experience in power systems or energy storage integration
• Experience with long-duration energy storage technologies such as flow batteries, zinc-based, compressed air, and thermal
• Ability to design and deliver complex electrical system designs and projects
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelors degree in EE
• Professional Engineer ( PE ) License

Nice If You Have:

• Experience in procurement and vendor coordination for large-scale energy projects
• Experience with commissioning and acceptance testing of energy systems
• Experience with Department of Defense or other federal energy projects
• Experience with microgrids, islanded operation, and advanced controls
• Knowledge of cybersecurity requirements for energy and control systems
• Knowledge of utility interconnection standards, protection schemes, and electrical codes, such as NEC, IEEE, and NFPA
• Possession of excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
• Secret clearance
• Masters degree in EE or related field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individuals particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees.
