OVERVIEW:
The Facilities Maintenance and Carpenter is responsible for maintaining the bank’s branches and corporate office facilities to ensure a safe, functional, and professional environment. This role requires strong carpentry and general maintenance skills, as well as the ability to perform light administrative tasks, support office/desk moves, and provide backup coverage for team members. Attention to detail, adaptability, and customer service orientation are key to success in this position. Responsible for the maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, and equipment. This includes but is not limited to carpentry, electrical, plumbing .
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain and repair buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Perform carpentry work, including building and repairing cabinets, doors, and other structures.
Perform light electrical work.
Perform plumbing work, including installing and repairing plumbing fixtures, pipes, and drains.
F ollow instructions and work safely.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools .
Ability to work with a variety of materials, including wood, metal, and plastic .
Attention to detail and safety awareness.
Assist with furniture and desk moves, workstation reconfigurations, and office setup.
Process and track work orders through the facilities ticketing system. (NodaFi)
Support facilities reporting, inventory management, and invoice review as assigned.
Assist with coordination of contractors and service providers.
Support special projects, renovations, and bank branch maintenance as needed.
Respond promptly and professionally to employee facility requests.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or technical certification preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in carpentry, building maintenance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of general building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, life safety).
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Basic computer skills; ability to use MS Office Suite and facilities ticketing systems.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (travel between bank branches may be required).
