Senior Project Manager Commercial Construction | Connecticut-Based Projects

Are you a seasoned construction professional ready to lead high-impact projects across Connecticut? Were seeking aSenior Project Manager (SPM)to oversee the full project lifecyclefrom pre-construction through closeoutensuring quality, safety, and financial success every step of the way.

As a Senior Project Manager, youll mentor project engineers, foster a collaborative team culture, and drive results across diverse sectors includingRetail, Education, Healthcare, Transportation, and Industrial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project planning, execution, and closeout with a focus on schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Review specifications and manage submittals, RFIs, ASIs, and sketches.
  • Identify long-lead items and coordinate procurement and logistics.
  • Oversee job site setup and develop site logistics plans.
  • Track trade performance and manage project schedules using CPM tools.
  • Conduct and document field inspections, safety meetings, and progress reports.
  • Maintain accurate record drawings and document control logs.
  • Champion safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Utilize Procore to manage project documentation and workflows.
  • Attend and lead jobsite and pre-construction meetings.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ yearsof experience managing commercial construction projects valued at$5M+.
  • Proven success in subcontractor management and quality control.
  • Proficiency inProcoreand construction scheduling tools.
  • OSHA 10certification (required); OSHA 30 is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and site operations.
Preferred Background
  • Bachelors degree inConstruction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Experience withself-perform workorcarpentryis a strong advantage.
  • Pre-construction planning experience is a plus.
Work Environment
  • Hybrid role with a mix of office and field presence (typically once per week on-site).
  • Projects arelocal to Connecticutno long commutes or overnight travel.
  • Standard start time around7:30 AM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
