As a facility professional, you understand that relationship-building and keen attention to detail is cru cia l when overseeing the lifecycle of a project. As a Facilities CAD Specialist on our team, youll work on challenging projects generating facility planning solutions from beginning to end while collaborating with senior leadership. Using computer facilities management sof tware and your problem-solving skills, youll help develop creative solutions for mission-critical projects for the USAF.

In this role, youll closely impact the accuracy and quality of facility data by surveying and updating facility drawings, which will improve inventory data accuracy. With mentoring, exposure to challenging projects, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

What Youll Work On:

• Analyze, formulate, and recommend facility standards, design, and space criteria and usage through space utilization studies and forecasts for clients in the USAF Civil Engineering community.

• Implement analyses and solution development for facility planning and management of facility planning solutions.

• Perform complex activities for the control and management of cost, schedule, risk, and resource optimization.

• Prepare or review facilities estimates and site proposals for client review as to cost and feasibility.

• Work closely with clients in the USAF Civil Engineering community to develop plans and programs responsive to present and anticipated portfolio and facility or individual space requirements.

• Recommend planning, design, and construction standards or milestones.

You Have:

• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit for building drawings and facilities

• Ability to learn new processes or procedures and apply them to existing CAD contract requirements

• Ability to c ond uct facility surveys

• Ability to use sof tware applications in Micro sof t Office products, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Access

• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience with facilities CAD, or 6+ years of experience with facilities CAD in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with DoD clients, including Air Force Manual ( AFMAN ) 32-1084, Facility Requirements, Air Force Instruction ( AFI ) 32-7062, and Comprehensive Planning

• Knowledge of DoD installations, missions, organizations, and facility types, including Category Codes

• Knowledge of AFI 32-1015, Integrated Installation Planning, DAFI 32-9005, and Real Property Accountability and Reporting

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree in Planning, Engineering, or Geography

• AutoDesk Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individuals particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees.
