AFRoss, LLC is looking for a Project Manager talented in Carpentry who is experienced in remodeling and new construction.
Lead Carpenter General Requirements:
10+ years in Residential/Commercial carpentry experience
Customer Service oriented
Communicates effectively
Reports daily to Director of Construction
Dependable and eager to continue learning
Works independently-sets daily goals
Maintains positive attitude
Must have a valid drivers license
We will supplement your own basic tools
Proficient in Building Codes
Works in a Safe manner
Able to lift and carry +85lbs
Job Duties:
Ability to read and understand construction documents
Troubleshoots and is able to research to resolve issues efficiently
Delegates daily tasks and teaches crew as needed
Material takeoffs and orders materials
Looks ahead to make sure helpers have prepared and stocked job for efficiency and continued progress
Responsibilities:
oLeading a crew of at least 3
oLayouts
oDigging and pouring footings
oFraming
oInterior and exterior trim-wood/pvc/metal
oRoofing-repair work and small additions
oSiding/metal
oInstall of composite materials
oWindows/Doors
Pay: Pay will be based on level of experience
Benefits:
Full time, M-F,
Paid Holidays after 90 days
(New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving 2days, Christmas 3days)
One weeks vacation after 1 year-additional time after 2 years, 2 Sick days a year
Work Truck or Gas Stipend
End of year Bonus potential
