Duties & Responsibilities

As a Landscaping Foreman, youll be the primary leader on landscape construction projects, managing crews, resources, and client relationships from start to finish.

Your key responsibilities include:

Full Project Leadership Plan, organize, and oversee all phases of construction, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to Oak Landscapings high-quality standards.

Team Management Direct, mentor, and motivate crew members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Safety & Compliance Enforce all safety protocols and ensure compliance with project specifications and local regulations.

Client Communication Serve as the main point of contact for clients on-site, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction.

Problem Solving Anticipate challenges, resolve site issues quickly, and adapt plans to changing conditions.

Training & Mentorship Provide guidance to Junior Crew Leads and crew members, helping them grow into future leaders.

Equipment Operation Operate and oversee safe use of tools, machinery, and heavy equipment, including skid steers and excavators.

Quality Control Inspect work regularly to ensure precision, durability, and aesthetics meet or exceed standards.

Reporting Use company systems and apps for timesheets, project tracking, and documentation.

Qualifications

Were looking for someone who is:

Highly experienced in landscape construction with 5+ years in the industry and at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Skilled in managing crews of 36 people on complex projects.

Proficient in hardscaping, softscaping, grading, drainage, planting, and finishing details.

A strong communicator with the ability to build trust with clients, team members, and management.

Capable of managing multiple projects at once while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather.

In possession of a valid drivers license and reliable transportation across the Lower Mainland.

Certified in First Aid (or willing to obtain).

What We Offer:

Competitive pay: $36.00 $42.00 per hour, based on experience.
Full-time, permanent role (3842 hours/week).
4-day work week Monday to Thursday. Extra work available if desired.
