3rd Shift Forklift Operator

We are actively sourcing candidates for a 3rd shift Forklift Operator position at one of our logistics centers in Ontario, CA. This role would involve replenishing warehouse shelves with pallets of merchandise and order selecting. The physical aspect of the job would include building pallets, labeling and preparing orders for shipment. Note: Resumes will be reviewed. Forklifts: Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Electric Pallet Jack

salary: $20.49 - $20.5 per hour
shift: Third
work hours: 7 PM - 3:30 AM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment to move product within the warehouse.
• Check-in inbound product and tag product accordingly.
• Perform various receiving functions, such as unloading trucks and putting away product in the correct overstock location.
• Maintain pick locations by cutting product open and placing product in primary picking locations.
• Breaks down pallets of returned product, match item quantity and description to returned packing slip and note any differences.
• Organize orders to be picked in an efficient manner.
• Select full case and break pack orders by pulling, stacking and labeling merchandise and bringing it to the staging area.
• Inspect all power equipment and complete the safety inspection sheet before operation
• Follow all of the safety procedures.
• Stack empty pallets; clean and sweep work area and remove trash regularly.
• Perform all tasks to ensure a safe work environment.
• Work as a team member by interacting and communicating with fellow associates in a cooperative, constructive manner.

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

Skills

Cherry Picker (1 year of experience is required)

Stand Up Reach Forklift (1 year of experience is required)

Electric Pallet Jack (1 year of experience is required)
