The Sales Operations Manager, National Accounts is responsible for leading the sales operations and analytical sales planning to drive sales growth, execute strategic initiatives, and strengthen the customer relationships with all US Target stores and the Drug Channel (Walgreens & CVS) across 3 business units at Wonderful: Wonderful Pistachios, POM Wonderful and FIJI Water. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail sales, account management, data analytics, and/or customer-facing roles within a consumer goods environment. They will ensure excellence in business planning, forecasting, reporting, trade management, and cross-functional execution.

This role is based in Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area.

Job Description

Sales Operations & Analysis

  • Manage sales forecasting, reporting, and performance tracking for the Target, Walgreens, and CVS accounts in coordination with demand planning and sales leads.
  • Analyze sales performance, category trends, and promotional effectiveness to inform business planning and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain master data including item setup, pricing updates, and promotional calendars across internal systems and customer portals (e.g., Partners Online).
  • Partner with the AVP in developing and executing joint business plans as needed to drive sales, profitability, and market share growth
  • Develop and deliver weekly/monthly sales reports, forecasts, and scorecards.
  • Assist in the preparation of customer presentations, promotional calendars, and internal planning meetings.
  • Own the organization and upkeep of customer-related documentation, trackers, and shared files.
  • Over time, will have opportunities in the future to lead all aspects of the customer relationship for a specific brand, such as POM Wonderful.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Serve as the key liaison between internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) and customer buying teams.
  • Plan and execute line reviews, seasonal resets, and promotional events.
  • Represent the Target, Walgreens, and CVS accounts internally, ensuring customer needs and priorities are reflected in internal planning and strategy

Project Management

  • Act as a key liaison with cross-functional departments to drive initiatives to ensure timely delivery of new item launches, marketing campaigns, and supply chain programs.
  • Manage deadlines, deliverables, and approvals to keep projects on schedule to drive projects forward, aiming at improving sales team processes, tools, and reporting inefficiencies.
  • Serve as a systems and process SME for the Target, Walgreens, and CVS account team, providing recommendations on automation, documentation, and scalable practices.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee and optimize sales processes and tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and performance tracking across national accounts.
  • Monitor inventory levels and supply chain performance to minimize out-of-stocks and overstocks and provide on-going reporting/tracking.
  • Collaborate with logistics and replenishment teams to ensure accurate forecasting and order fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with sales merchandising teams to ensure proper execution of in-store initiatives.
  • Monitor customer invoicing and deduction activity in partnership with Accounting to help ensure timely payments and resolution of outstanding balances.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, sales operations, or retail account management, preferably in consumer packaged goods, including at least 2 years supporting major retail accounts.
  • Strong experience with data analytics; able to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookups).
  • Experience in sales operations, trade systems (e.g., TPM, TPO), and demand forecasting processes a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with retail systems (e.g., Retail Link, Target POL, Item360) and syndicated data (e.g., ACNielsen, GRS) a plus.
  • Knowledge of both Packaged Grocery and Produce categories a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate across teams and engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Results-driven with high energy, strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

Pay Range: $115,000-$130,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience
