Position Summary:
To understand and enforce all Muth Electric safety policies; to obtain the best quality materials, products and tool at the most economical cost; with the most efficient movement of the materials/products/tools/etc. from the vendor; to fully utilize storage facilities and keep them neat and clean; and fulfill customer demands; to establish, maintain and control all inventory and tool records and to maintain inventory balances acceptable to management.

Position Responsbilities:
- Search out and find the needed items for contracts, including any new items to recommend that would improve the quality of the projects; which in turn will improve our position in the market place.
- Secures bids and quotations on materials, products and tools as they are needed; and maintains up-to-date files on Suppliers prices.
- Approves specific Supplier Invoices (resolving all discrepancies) for payment before submitting them to Accounting for payment.
- Handles and reconciles all discrepancies found on Packing Slips, PO?s, Supplier Invoices, etc.
- Assures that the proper personnel (his/her supervisor & field operations) are notified when a scheduled receiving date is not going to be met and that the personnel is given the best anticipated rescheduled delivery date.
- Constantly evaluates the quality of the material and products to assure that they conform to the specifications and standards established by the project contracts.
- Supervises physical inventory audits and compares the audits to on hand figures where appropriate and resolves all discrepancies.
- Identifies and resolves any inventory shortages or imbalances.
- Determines the accuracy of tool list for each project and resolves any discrepancies.
- Pulls tools from inventory and purchases other tools as required and has them placed on the job site.
- Maintains a Tool and Equipment Inventory and tracks the location of all tools and equipment at all times.
- Schedules all Tools and Equipment for routine Preventive Maintenance, inspection and repairs.
- Maintains and secures all keys for vehicles and equipment.
- Assures that the warehouse facility is kept in good repair.
- Maintains good housekeeping practices in his/her area. Meets or exceeds all current Lean Construction standards as approved by the Muth Electric Corporate office and by his/her supervisor.
