Location: Gainesville, FL

Job Type: Full-Time / Project-Based

Job Overview:

CCS Construction Staffing is hiring experienced HVAC Mechanics for a project in Gainesville, FL. Candidates should have hands-on HVAC experience and be able to assist with duct installation and related tasks.

Work Scope Includes:

• Installing metal ductwork

• Using metal strap for hangers

• Slip and drive duct installation

• Assisting with layout (very limited layout experience needed for one mechanic)

• Helping install residential capacity air handlers, electric duct heaters, and manual volume dampers

• Working in a conditioned space

• Following all site safety procedures

Requirements:

• HVAC mechanic experience

• Basic hand tools required

• Must have full PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, vest, steel-toe boots)

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to work independently and with a crew

• Drug test required prior to start
