Welder/Fabricator

Entry level part-time welder/apprentice. (20 - 35 hours/week depending on work load)

Weld, Grind, Work on custom bumpers, help with basic shop tasks, Help customers that are buying steel.

Be reliable,

Do Quality work.

Ask questions if you don't know what to do.

-High school graduate or equivalent

-Must be able to read tape measure

-Pass drug test

-Lift at least 50 pounds

-Have a good attitude, desire to build cool things, and learn valuable skills.

Some welding experience preferred but not required. Willing to train a motivated capable person.

Perks:

-With time, If you show you can be responsible, you will be able to work on your own projects at the shop with access to CNC laser cutting, welding machines, press brake, powder coating, wholesale steel prices.

-Use of Fitness/breakroom area, operational but still undergoing updates we have a small workout area in the shop with some cardio equipment and weights

-Flexible schedule, pretty understanding of scheduling, as long as you communicate ahead of time and maintain a reasonable amount of work hours.

-Ability to learn. If you stick around long enough we can teach you how to use shop equipment including 2D cad, 3D CAD, making laser cut parts or designing 3d objects to make out of sheet metal, Press brake bending, tube bending, Fabrication design, sandblasting and powder coating.

At this time we have no employee insurance plans or 401k but hoping to add these perks very soon, We do have bonuses at the end of the year and randomly throughout the year for hard work and dedication.

Our main product is building custom bumpers for trucks, but we do many other fabrication projects for local and out of state customers.
