Here's what you'd do: Running various welding machines, including hand welding, using a TIG welder, and orbital welding using an orbital welding machine of stainless steel and other high-purity materials. Execute all of Ichor's Standard Operating Procedures for manufacturing-related duties. Responsible for studying prints, drawings, and specifications to complete finished welds and lay out tasks using specialized computer welding equipment. Other duties as assigned. Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a high-purity clean room environment. Minimum of 3 years of experience using all approved hand gauges to inspect component quality at the work center. Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience performing Tig welding of stainless steel. Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Basic PC skills for manufacturing. Mechanically inclined. Visual acuity and manual dexterity. Ability to handle fragile products, perform repetitive tasks, and demonstrate safety awareness. Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment. Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings, correspondence, and documents. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, percentages, and decimals. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively with supervisors, leads, and peers. Ability to recognize deviation from accepted practices. Basic understanding of related mechanics, flow control elements, and MRP concepts. The semiconductor industry preferred. Commitment to quality, customer-focused mindset, both internally and externally. Successful completion of a 2-year professional trade program in Welding Technology. Basic math, blueprint reading, and weld-to-print skills. Demonstrated ability to process and inspect work by prints. Ability to perform a sequence of operations, consistently maintaining the performance level set for quality and quantity. Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
