Industrial Painter

Industrial Painter Job Description We are seeking an Industrial Painter with at least one year of experience operating an HVLP spray gun to paint railings and beams. The ideal candidate will have a year of experience working in a metal fabrication shop, preferably on railings, beams, doors, and frames, as well as general labor or industrial cleaning experience. This role offers the potential for training in grinding and bending products, utilizing shears and press brakes. Responsibilities Perform industrial painting using an HVLP spray gun on railings and beams. Maintain the entire shop, ensuring it is clean and organized. Engage in general labor tasks such as sweeping and cleaning work areas. Sort and organize parts into their correct areas. Follow simple directions to complete tasks efficiently. Essential Skills Experience with industrial painting and operating an HVLP spray gun. Experience in a metal fabrication shop. General labor and industrial cleaning experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with machine operation, including paint booths, is beneficial. Ability to operate shears and press brakes. Work Environment The work environment is an industrial shop with two open bay garage working areas. While the shop is undercover, it can get hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The role requires adaptability to these conditions. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of McKeesport, Pennsylvania. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
