Pipefitter Job Description An industrial fitting company specializing in the oil and gas industry is seeking skilled pipe welders in MN. You will be responsible for installing pipe and control systems for customers in the fuel storage and distribution industry, utilizing your welding skills in Stick/SMAW and Oxy/Acetylene methods. Responsibilities Install pipe and control systems for customers in the fuel storage and distribution industry Perform welding using Stick/SMAW and Oxy/Acetylene techniques Will primarily be working with an 8010 Rod Lay out jobs based on blueprints and efficiently work with pipefitting tools and materials Use basic hand tools for disassembly and assembly Operate hand and power tools such as Grinders, Belt Sanders, Drills, Positioner Tables, and Chop Saws Travel is required to various job sites Essential Skills Experience in pipefitting and pipe welding Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints Ability to install, maintain, and repair high or low-pressure pipe and control systems. Understanding of advanced pipe fabrications, proper alignment, and stress relieving of pipes Additional Skills & Qualifications Extensive experience in pipefitting is preferred Knowledge of piping installation and welding Why Work Here?
