Heavy Equipment Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at a leading site work and civil construction company. This role involves working on large projects primarily located in the southern Massachusetts and south shore Massachusetts area. Preferred candidates will have experience in water and sewer projects. This position is full time offering competitive pay and benefits! Responsibilities Review plans and successfully complete projects with your own crew of operators and laborers. Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, forklifts, and backhoes to perform site work and construction tasks. Perform grinding and surface grinding tasks as required. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards on all projects. Essential Skills 5+ years of experience in the site development field. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, forklifts, and backhoes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans. OSHA 10 certification.
