CAD Model Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CAD Model Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and managing detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings for various engineering projects.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure models meet project specifications and requirements.
Perform simulations and analyses to validate design concepts and identify potential issues.
Revise and update models based on feedback from engineers and other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines in all CAD designs.
Assist in the development and implementation of CAD standards and best practices.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes.
Other Responsibilities:
Create commercial and design parts.
Support new product development teams with BOMs and supporting regulatory documents.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Proven experience as a CAD Model Engineer or similar role.
Proficiency in CAD software such as Unigraphics/NX (preferred), AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience with simulation tools and techniques is a plus.
