Cable Technician Job Description Join our team as a Cable Technician, where you will be instrumental in our new build projects by installing low voltage systems. You will take on responsibilities that include splicing, building terminals, assembling panels and controls, and installing wiring for various units. Responsibilities Install low voltage systems for new build projects. Splice fiber optics and build terminals, panels, and controls. Install wiring for various units. Run fiber, wire, and install boxes and panels. Work with Cat5 and Cat6 cables. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems. Essential Skills 3-5 years of experience working electrically with low voltage on a construction or install site. Proficiency in working with Cat5 and Cat6 cables. Ability to splice fiber optics. Experience in running fiber and wiring, and installing boxes and panels. Additional Skills & Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in a commercial or industrial construction setting. Experience in installing or repairing panels, switches, and controls. Ability to work off drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Why Work Here?
