Function description

We are currently seeking a skilled Crane Operator for an Accommodation Barge project located in the USA . This position is scheduled to begin approximately on the 17th of September and will last for 8 weeks . The Crane Operator will play a key role in supporting lifting operations, ensuring safe and efficient handling of cargo and equipment on board the barge. The role requires precision, safety awareness, and experience with offshore lifting

procedures.

Responsibilities:

Operate pedestal and/or crawler cranes for lifting operations on the accommodation barge.

Conduct pre-operation checks and routine maintenance of crane equipment.

Coordinate with deck crew and supervisors to ensure safe lifting practices.

Follow load charts and lifting plans as per project requirements.

Maintain clear communication with the bridge and deck teams during operations.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

Requirements

Requirements:

US B1 Visa with OCS, (B-1 for Transit or Travel to the OCS for Wind Activities; Not OCS Activity)

GWO Working at Heights

Crane Operator (Stage 3) certificate

CRANE LIEBHERR HS 895 experience

Relevant STCW and offshore certificates.
