Commercial Estimator

LCG Facades is actively seeking a qualified commercial glazing estimator to join our team.

LCG Facades is a commercial building envelope contractor committed to high-end installation and customer service.

LCGs installation products and services includes: curtain wall systems, rainscreen systems (i.e. composite, formed and plate panels, terracotta, Trespa phenolic panels, dimensioned stone), weather barriers, and exterior insulation.

• Produce accurate and profitable estimates based on labor, material, and time requirements dictated by relevant plans, proposals, scope, and specifications
• Develop and maintain relationships with quality contractors, architects, and suppliers to facilitate project negotiations and identify business development opportunities
• Write thorough and professional proposals addressing product scope description for each section of work bid including all project specific exclusions, qualifications, and clarifications
• Review sales goals with supervision and management

• Ability to work under pressure to meet project deadlines and continually adapt to changing priorities
• Self-motivation with effectively prioritizing and executing tasks working with multiple timelines
• Ability to develop cooperative working relationships with other department members
• Advanced knowledge of estimating strategies and techniques
• Able to read and interpret project plans and technical data and translate to others
• Possess a demonstrated background in estimation
• Experience includes estimating medium to large size and scope projects
• A relevant Bachelor (or equivalent) construction, construction management, or similar degree
• Minimum 5+ years experience in construction estimating, preferably glazing estimating

• Microsoft Office Suite
• Bluebeam Revu
• Cut List Plus
• AutoCAD and / or Google Sketch-up
• On Screen Take-off
• On Screen Take-off

Compensation:

• Competitive pay 60k-90k (DOE)
