Role OverviewAs the Culture & Events Project Manage r , you will formulate a best-in-class experience across the organization through impactful experiences and events. - Design and implement effective processes as a national culture and events project manager, this role involves managing all planning from concept and design to execution of events, leading event management while fostering collaboration with other team members and departments to create extraordinary experiences for our community and CSC associates.
- Strategize departmental and national leaders to develop and execute outreach events for Cortland Commitment week (CCW), our yearly volunteer program designed to provide associates with the opportunity to give back to the communities where we live and work.
- Develop and deploy strategic, clear, and engaging messaging for all events, through collaboration with the internal communications team consistent with Cortlands brand.
- Direct strategy, research, vetting, precuring and managing vendors, and leading events for the firm to ensure seamless and successful execution of experiences that align with our brand, objectives, and core values.
- Negotiate and collaborate with other team members and departments to host festive and memorable holiday parties and monthly CSC/COE gatherings.
- Direct Mercedes Benz Stadium ticketing (Atlanta), maintaining ticketing and parking passes, ensuring accurate records, distribution, through a smooth and efficient process.
- Develop and manage a ticket/award program for CSC and Atlanta associates enhancing engagement and recognition.
- Provide support as needed for the Atlanta Concierge team as the overseer of an operation that can make or break the days of your stakeholders.
- Partner with Cortland Prime committee
- Sourcing and identifying location for Cortland Prime, ensuring a conducive and inspiring venue.
- Prime Support Committee development and management
- Lead efforts in executing attendee list management and travel.
- Support volunteers before, during, and after the conference.
- Benson/gift development and purchasing.
- Strategize and execute feedback surveys to continuously improve associate engagement before, during, and after events.
- 15-20% of travel is needed for events, site visits, Cortland Commitment Week, Prime, holiday gatherings, and to coordinate regional and national meetings.
- Stellar 5+ years of Event management experience
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Self-directed, strong analytical, critical thinking skills, and ability to anticipate needs
- Exceptional business administration, planning, organizational, interpersonal, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, Concur, Asana
- Ability to lift 15-20 pounds
