Welding Position
Shift Hours: 3:00pm - 1 :30 a m Mon.- Thur .
Starting Pay: Dependent on experience
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Read and interpret Welding drawings
Follow work direction and training provided by higher level Weld ing personnel
Perform Fit up assembly and Welding operations according to documented manufacturing procedures, such as Bill of Material (BOM), welding drawings and work instructions
Self-inspect and evaluate the quality of products before forwarding to the next step in the fulfillment process
Perform work at or above pre-establish ed performance objectives
Keep the work area clean and organized
Other duties deemed necessary to support the Company's business operations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ability to read and interpret Weld ing drawings, BOM's and associated procedures , including knowledge of weld symbols.
Ability to follow directions
Ability to identify and communicate basic process improvements
Possess a mechanical aptitude
Ability to work well in a team environment
Flexibility and willingness to adapt to frequently ch anging priorities/tasks
Proven reliability -- attendance and punctuality
Ability to use and set up latest MIG and Pulse welding machines.
Ability to leak proof weld.
Basic Welding and Assembly tools needed
Minimum Educa tion and Experience Preferred :
High School diploma or GED
3 - 6 years Welding experience in MIG, TIG, or Pulse welding
