Job Description:
Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on IAM Architect to lead the design and implementation of Identity and Access Management solutions for a large-scale enterprise transformation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in technical environments, enjoys working closely with business stakeholders, and has a proven track record of implementing RBAC and IAM programs from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and implement a comprehensive RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) framework across multiple business units.
  • Lead the hands-on deployment and configuration of Active Directory (AD) and AWS Cognito for internal and external identity management.
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand user roles, access needs, and application dependencies.
  • Design and execute IAM strategies for mainframe-to-Salesforce migration involving ~1500 users.
  • Develop IAM solutions for external user access to platforms like FPL.com, including customer service tiers and partner integrations.
  • Define and document IAM policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Conduct IAM assessments and gap analyses to inform rollout strategies.
  • Work closely with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance.
Required Experience:
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in IAM architecture and implementation.
  • Proven experience rolling out multiple IAM programs in enterprise environments.
  • Deep understanding of RBAC, Active Directory, and AWS Cognito.
  • Experience working with Salesforce IAM integrations is a strong plus.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate business needs into technical IAM solutions.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with external IAM and customer identity solutions.
  • Familiarity with mainframe systems and legacy application migrations.
  • Prior work in regulated industries or utilities is a plus.
