Remains Lighting is a dynamic, environmentally committed, 25 year old artisanal metalworking company specializing in bespoke lighting for the architecture and interior design community. We are a Brooklyn based company operating from a 20,000' Solar powered, LEED Gold factory in Bushwick and have showroom locations in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.

Remains Project Managers are the liaison between the Sales team, our clients, and the production team. The position requires require excellent communication skills and organization. A passion for understanding how things are made and a knack for keeping tabs on multiple ongoing projects are useful attributes for this position, as well.

Your duties will encompass, but not be limited to:

Monitoring client orders in production including new order review, confirmation of order specifications, and communication of priorities/ deadlines with production

Gracious, clear and comprehensive correspondence with clients and sales staff regarding production updates, order completion, and shipping details of orders.

Facilitating quality concerns and guiding clients through the process of repair or replacement, while maintaining clear records of resolution.

Manage shipping for clients and our showrooms.

The Necessary:

Excellent organizational and communication skills and a positive attitude toward the working public and their co-workers

Neat appearance, a polite and personable manner and comfort level with high-end clientele

A sharp attention to detail

Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Office Suite, and our internal ERP REMI

Willingness to jump in wherever resources are needed to get jobs completed on time

You will get your hands dirty on occasion. You will have to handle heavy fixtures, climb ladders, and wield a drill on occasion.

Helpful, but not critical:

Interest in lighting, decorative arts, or quality metalworking and design

Experience in art making or metalworking and basic knowledge of fabrication methods

Familiarity with concepts of project management and project management lifecycle

Experience crating, art handling, and shipping with UPS small parcel, LTL Freight, and/or art handlers

Proven experience leading, organizing, and motivating project teams to achieve top level performance and quality.
