THE WORK
Position is located in Palm Beach, FL: Project Engineer plans, organizes, and develops logistics products to support Undersea system development, training, and sustainment. Responsible for working under general direction in a multi-functional team to develop and maintain technical documentation, training materials, and support analyses. Successful candidate will cultivate knowledge through technical writing to develop and maintain written documentation for the operation, troubleshooting, component/assembly removal and installation, and Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB) structure for various systems. Work with minimum direction to format, write, edit, and publish operations and maintenance technical manuals and other technical documents using Arbortext Editor and Microsoft Word. Additional responsibilities include support of; sustainment proposal activities, depot operations, spares management, logistics product scheduling, as needed.

Must possess the ability to work from engineering drawings.

Ability to work effectively with a variety of logistics, supportability, electrical, mechanical, software, and systems engineering personnel to develop, review, and approve technical documentation content.

Working knowledge of applicable military standards and specifications.Ability to work from Lockheed Martin and vendor-produced mechanical and electrical engineering drawings.

Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical maintenance experience is a plus.

Excellent communication skills.

MS Office proficient

Ability to work in a team environment.

Experienced with Arbortext Editor

Experience with Undersea ROV and/or UUV systems
