Construction Field Manager

Job Description

As a Construction Field Manager, you will be responsible for leading, directing, and coordinating the day-to-day field activities of various construction projects. This role involves managing subcontractors, overseeing project cost controls, and implementing project schedules to ensure successful project completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct daily field activities for construction projects, ensuring all tasks are executed efficiently.
• Manage subcontractor teams by organizing work schedules, monitoring project progress, and conducting constructability reviews and logistics planning.
• Communicate effectively to manage all aspects of construction projects, including the generation and management of RFIs, email correspondence, and leading meetings.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and building regulations, manage the permit and inspection processes, and adhere to building code requirements.
• Enforce OSHA and company safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Identify project risk factors and develop strategies to manage and mitigate them, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

• Expertise in construction management, especially in commercial construction.
• Experience as a general contractor.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction field.

• Experience with commercial AND residential projects is preferred, but not mandatory.

The role involves working primarily on construction sites, requiring adherence to safety protocols and effective communication with various teams. The position demands a proactive approach to managing multiple aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety and building regulations, and requires familiarity with the latest construction technologies and practices.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
