Construction Quality Control Manager
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Quality Control Manager to oversee quality assurance on-site at AFB Charleston. This role is critical for ensuring high standards are met in all construction activities, particularly focusing on sewer and storm drain repair and renovations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage quality control processes on-site to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Supervise and inspect sewer and storm drain repair and renovation activities.
  • Implement and maintain quality control plans as per USACE or NAVFAC guidelines.
  • Coordinate with construction teams to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare detailed reports on quality control activities and outcomes.
Essential Skills
  • Possession of an active Quality Control Manager certification from USACE or NAVFAC.
  • OSHA30 certification.
  • At least 5 years of experience in federal construction projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • CQCM certification.
  • Experience with EM385 is a plus.
  • Familiarity with construction management and quality control procedures.
Work Environment

This position is based on-site at AFB in Charleston. You will be part of a growing company gaining momentum in the Carolinas, with opportunities to work on various projects. The role requires working outdoors and may involve exposure to construction site conditions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $52.00/hr.
