Telecommunications OSP Construction Helper

Role Overview

As a Telecommunications Construction Helper, you'll gain hands-on experience in the fast-growing 5G space while supporting outside plant (OSP) construction crews. You'll work closely with team leads to ensure timely and efficient project completion across various client sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with trenching, PVC pipe installation, cable and conduit runs
• Handle and transport equipment and inventory
• Mount and hang telecommunications hardware
• Support lead technicians in daily field operations
• Travel to job sites from the Perry Hall yard with crew

Top Skills Details

• 1+ years of experience in OSP telecommunications construction (preferred)
• Proficiency with hand tools and mechanical aptitude
• Dependability and a strong work ethic

Additional Qualifications

• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Punctuality and ability to work in a team of four (Foreman, Operator, 2 Laborers)
• Quick learner with initiative and retention skills
• DOT clearance required

Work Environment

• Outdoor fieldwork in varying weather conditions
• If weather prevents site work, duties may shift to shop-based tasks or result in time off
• Daily travel to cell sites with team; meet at Perry Hall yard each morning

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
