As a Water Resources Engineer associated with our Salt Lake City office, you'll work with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver planning, design, and implementation phases of projects completed for municipal, private, state, Tribal, irrigation district, and Federal clients. Working with other members of our local and regional team, you'll contribute to a variety of water resources, environmental, transportation, and site civil projects and programs and you'll collaborate on studies, designs, and field assignments for hydraulic/hydrologic modeling, fish passage, stream restoration, stormwater management, drainage, hydropower, and water conveyance and storage.

Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Biological and Agricultural, or related engineering discipline.
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certificate or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Minimum three years of professional experience in water resources engineering and related roles.
- Experience with open channel and/or closed conduit hydraulics.
- Dependable and capable of meeting assigned project deadlines with minimal oversight.
- Able to understand, edit, and coordinate project planning reports, design specifications, and drawings.
Ideally, you'll also have:
- Master's degree in a discipline listed above.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Engineering experience including the planning, design, and construction phases of projects.
- Experience with 1D and 2D hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SRH-2D, HEC-RAS 2D).
- Experience with other analysis and design software packages (e.g., Bentley FlowMaster, FHWA's Hydraulic Toolbox, HY-8, Microstation, InRoads, AutoCAD Civil3D, ArcMap).
- Experience with RiverWare river and reservoir modeling.

The base salary range for this position is $68,400.00 to $119,600.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
